Short version: this site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Nothing here follows you around.
What a cookie is
A small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all; others exist to track what you do. This site only ever involves the first kind.
What this site may store
- WordPress session cookies — only if you log into the admin area. As a visitor you will never see these.
- A language cookie (
pll_language) — remembers whether you are reading the Spanish or the English version, so you are not switched back on every page. It stores nothing but a language code and is exempt from consent, since without it the site cannot deliver the language you asked for. - Cloudflare security cookies — the network layer in front of this site may set a technical cookie to tell real visitors from automated attacks. It carries no advertising or profiling data and is exempt from consent under EU ePrivacy rules, since the site could not run safely without it.
What this site does NOT use
- No Google Analytics. Visitor statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not identify anyone (see the privacy policy).
- No advertising cookies. There are no ads on this site.
- No social media buttons, embedded videos or tracking pixels.
- No advertising or tracking scripts. The only external script is the cookieless Cloudflare statistics beacon.
That is also why you are not seeing a cookie banner. There is nothing to ask your permission for.
If that changes
If advertising or any tool using tracking cookies is added in future, this page will be updated and a consent banner will appear before any such cookie is set. You can also read the privacy policy.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you view and delete stored cookies from its privacy settings, and block them entirely if you prefer. Blocking them will not affect your use of this site.
