Padel mix-ins in Marbella: weekly open sessions

A mix-in is an open session: you sign up alone or with a partner, and the club arranges the matches, rotating opponents by level. If you have just arrived in Marbella and know nobody, it is the fastest way to get on court.

Why this list is short

I checked every Marbella club on Playtomic. Only Manolo Santana publishes its mix-ins. Los Naranjos, El Mirador, Los Granados and the rest list no open sessions at all.

That does not mean they do not run them. It means they are organised over WhatsApp, among regulars — invisible if you have just arrived. If you are visiting, the published sessions above are realistically your best entry point.

What those level numbers mean

Playtomic rates players from 0 to 7:

LevelWhat it means
0 – 1Never played, or just starting. The walls still surprise you.
1 – 2You can rally, serve and return with some consistency.
2 – 3You play tactically: lobs, the bandeja, moving to the net.
3 – 4Solid club level. Comfortable off the wall, and you can smash.
4 – 5Amateur competition. You hit hard and with intent.
5 – 7Very high level, federated or professional.

If in doubt, pick the lower level the first time. Nobody minds a player who turns out to be better than billed; the other way round spoils the session.

How to sign up

  • For clubs on Playtomic, straight from the club page: pick the session and pay your share.
  • Otherwise, call the club and ask whether they run americanas or mix-ins.
  • Bring your own racket if you have one — not every club hires them out.
